These works on paper are monoprints, they are unique one of a kind works using several different types of printmaking processes: Collagraph, mono-print, mono-type, and stencils are used.

Collographs are created using physical textures adhered to a matrix. They can be printed in different ways. The physicality of the textures and the odd resonance of the forms, creates a duality for a compositional elements.

An artist’s book is a work of art in book form. Douglas’s books are entirely handmade and focus on content, form, and materials. Her current artists’ books are one-of-a-kind or limited-edition art objects. She incorporates typography, design, fine art, graphics, creative writing, and digital media into her book works.
